Facebook ads still in review for so long: 6 reasons and quick fixes
Why is My Facebook Ads Still in Review? If you’re wondering why your Facebook ad is stuck in the review process, you’re not alone. Facebook’s ad review process can sometimes take longer than expected due to various factors, from ad content and targeting to the current volume of submissions. In this article, Mr Luu Thien An will explore common reasons why your ad might be delayed and provide tips on how to expedite the approval process. Stay ahead of the curve by understanding what could be causing the holdup and ensuring your ads meet Facebook’s guidelines.
Mr. Thien An Luu estimated that typically, the Facebook ad review process is completed within 24 hours. If the wait time exceeds this period, your marketing material likely has some issues that need to be resolved. Facebook’s review system is designed to assess all ads before they are delivered. Essentially, this system relies on automated technology based on Meta’s algorithms. However, to improve the accuracy of the review process, the platform also requires manual reviews from a team of experts.
According to Mr Thien An Luu, Facebook reviews ads based on 2 following factors:
- Landing page: The landing page linked in the ad needs to be properly designed; the product information described on the landing page must be consistent with the ad content.
- Ad content: All elements in the ad, such as images, text, videos, etc., must comply with the platform’s policies.
Thus, only when the marketing material meets all these conditions can it “conquer” the platform’s stringent system within 24 hours. On the other hand, if the system detects any irregularities, it will need to be reviewed by manual evaluators, and the review time will extend beyond 24 hours. In some cases, if the ad violates advertising policies, it may be rejected immediately.
